🔓 How to Unlock and Find the Metrics Tab

You can find the Metrics tab located directly in the left-sidebar menu of your Fomo dashboard.

⚠️ Don't see the Metrics tab yet? Don't panic! The Metrics tab only appears once your account has successfully tracked its very first conversion.


Here is how to get it to show up based on your e-commerce platform:

  • For Shopify Users: The Metrics tab will appear automatically the moment your store processes its first conversion after installing Fomo.


  • For Non-Shopify Users: You just need to connect your Google Analytics account to start recording data. To do this, navigate to Settings > Analytics, follow the prompts to connect, and the Metrics tab will unlock as soon as your first conversion rolls in. Connected GA but unable to see conversions?


🕵️‍♂️ Exploring Your Performance Data

Once unlocked, clicking into the Metrics tab opens up a goldmine of conversion tracking. Here is a breakdown of what you can do inside:

1. Filter by Notification Template

You can review your all-time high-level stats, or drill down into specific data by notification template. Want to see how your Shopify Order template is performing compared to your Live Visitors template? Just select it from the dropdown to filter the data instantly.


2. Analyze Clicks, Impressions, & Attributions

Fomo tracks the entire lifecycle of your social proof. At a glance, you'll be able to view:

  • Impressions: How many times your notifications were seen.
  • Clicks: How many visitors actively interacted with them.
  • Attributions: How many sales or sign-ups were directly influenced by Fomo.
  • Visual Graphs: Clean, easy-to-read charts that highlight your conversion trends over time.


3. Customize Your Timeframes

Need to pull numbers for a quarterly meeting or a weekend flash sale? Use the built-in time filters to slice your stats by day, month, or year. The visual graphs will update instantly based on the range you pick.


💰 Deep-Dive into Top & Recent Attributions

Navigate to get into the granular details of your revenue:

  • Top Attributions: See a breakdown of where your highest-value conversions are originating from, making it easy to identify which integrations or store events are moving the needle.


  • Recent Attributions: A live, date-sorted feed of your latest conversions. Here, you can easily audit individual transaction IDs, specific product details, the type of customer interaction, timestamps, and the exact revenue generated from that sale.
