How to connect Fomo to GoHighLevel 🫡
Are you using GoHigh Level to sell your Product or Service and want to boost sales with Fomo social proof notifications? Adding the Fomo snippet to your GoHighLevel site is simple and connecting your data to feed notifications is easier than you think! Bear with me🐻.
First you'll need to Create a Custom Webhook notification to send data to Fomo when a specific action (such as a form submission or a purchase) is completed in any of your Go High Level workflows.
After connecting to Custom Webhook you want to find the Webhook URL in the Webhook Settings and copy it so you can insert it into your funnel.
Now go to your GoHighLevel Account and either create a new Workflow or select an existing one by going to Automation as on the details,
After selecting the workflow you'll need to add an Action.
Select the Custom Webhook as the Action,
Paste your Webhook URL you copied from Fomo into the URL field. It should look like this:
The data you see in Raw Body are the fields you'll be able to include in your notification.
Important! Make sure the custom values names (in quotation marks) are in all lower case. This will make it easier to match to the default field names Fomo uses to create templates.
Finally you will be able to send a Test event selecting one of your contacts, Save the Action and (don't forget!!) Publish the Workflow if it isn't published yet,
The Last Step is to go back to Fomo, to your Custom Webhook Settings and click Edit Payload Rules,
Make sure to Map the variables and match the names you set before to their values like this:
And Click Save.
Set up your Template by tapping on the variables below and adding any connector words you want.
Something like {{ first_name | fallback [Someone Cool] }} in {{ city }}, {{ province }} just signed up for {{ product_title | fallback [My Awesome Webinar] }}. Click here to join them! {{ time_ago }}.
