Privy is a leading marketing automation tool for ecommerce businesses.

If you manage newsletter subscribers or coupons on Privy, you can connect your account with Fomo to showcase new leads on your website in real-time.

Step 1 - Enable Privy

While logged in to Fomo, navigate to Notifications, click ‘Add Notifications’, then ‘All Notifications’. Search for 'Privy' and click to open the integration.

In the resulting connect page, copy the url in the webhook url field. We'll use this inside the Privy admin dashboard.

Step 2 - Enable Fomo

While logged in to Privy, visit Settings > Integrations from the top right dropdown.

Select 'Webhooks' on the left side navigation, click 'Custom,' then change the Method dropdown to "POST" and paste your Webhook URL from Fomo. Check the Triggers checkboxes depending on which event you want to show off.

Finally, click 'Save' to activate the connection.

3. You're done!

Going forward, new leads from Privy will be sent to your Fomo event feed, and shown on your website in real-time.

Protip: to only show Signups or Redemptions, simply 'check' the associated trigger box inside your webhook configuration. Webhooks are also editable, so you don't need to reconnect Fomo or Privy to change this later.

To edit the message structure of your Fomo notifications, simply visit the Notifications tab while logged into Fomo, locate the Privy template and click 'edit'. Feel free to rename this template as well.
