How does Fomo's publishing program work?
Fomo has a growing network of brands who want to advertise their products and services on your website. Learn more about this network here.
Fomo charges these advertisers on a per ad impression basis and pays publishers a majority of that revenue, for syndicating the ads.
Will I be paid by click or impression?
Fomo bills advertisers on a per thousand impression basis, commonly referred to as CPM (cost per mille).
As of this writing, Fomo pays publishers $2 per 1,000 ad impressions. Because a single pageview yields 2-3 ads, publishers are paid $6-10 per 1,000 pageviews.
How do I manage ads on my website?
The Fomo team curates ad campaigns that fit your readership and website content. However, if at any time you prefer not to syndicate a specific ad or brand, let us know and we'll remove it from your site immediately.
How do earnouts work?
Fomo pays publishers every month, or every $100, whichever is sooner.
There is no minimum revenue or site traffic threshold, but you may optionally set a threshold if you prefer not to receive smaller payments.
Can I modify settings on my account?
Yes, you're welcome to embed the snippet on any number of pages on your website, as well as customize the theme, location, and timing of ads.
Access these options from the Theme and Settings tabs inside your Fomo dashboard.
How do I disable ads?
Inside your Fomo dashboard, click the "Sites" link in the top left and toggle 'off' your website to immediately pause all active campaigns.
