Trusted Shops is the European Trustmark for online shops with money-back guarantee for consumers.

Connecting Trusted Shops to your Fomo account takes a few seconds, and requires no coding experience.

Step 1

Login to etrusted and navigate to Settings / Einstellungen > SSO Clients

Click on Create new client / Neuen client erstellen

Set up new API Client - You can name it Fomo and add prefix fomo and make sure you activate it by clicking on Client enabled / Client aktiviert and finally click Save / Speichern

Click on arrow to open details of API Key. You will see Client ID and Secret (you will need to reveal it to see it) - Save this details as you will need them in next steps.

Step 5

Inside Fomo, navigate to Notifications, click 'Add Notifications, then 'All Notifications' and search for "Trusted Shops."

Click 'Connect' and enter Client id and Secret from previous step. Set the minimum star rating for the reviews you want to import.

Step 6

You're done!

Fomo will immediately import recent reviews from Trusted Shops.

Going forward, new Trusted Shops reviews will be imported automatically every 10 minutes, sent to your Fomo Events feed, and shown on your website in real-time.

Navigate to Notifications, find the Trusted Shops template, and click 'edit' to modify the messaging of your Fomo notifications, with access to variables like {{ review_stars }}, {{ caption_short }}, {{ caption_long }} , {{ first_name }}, {{ initials }} and more.
