This guide is intended for Fomo Partners.

After creating a link, you need to promote it in order to drive recurring revenue as a Fomo affiliate.

A high energy webinar is a great way to do this, given the free and evergreen nature of SEO.

Here are the components to a successful marketing webinar about Fomo:

  1. Live demo

  2. Testimonial from you, the influencer

  3. Use case examples

  4. Referral link from your Partner dashboard

Live demo
โ€‹
Don't make a presentation deck about Fomo. We suggest logging into a live account, clicking around, or setting up a new website from scratch.

Many of our prospective customers tell us the following:

  • I don't know if I should sign up, because I don't know how to code. Is that OK?

Meanwhile, many of our new signups tell us this:

  • Setup was easy! I connected X, Y, and Z in minutes.

As a spokesperson for Fomo, it's your job to anticipate these concerns. The best way to alleviate them is by showing vs telling.

If you don't have a Fomo account for your own business, but would like a sandbox account for purposes of a live demo or webinar, let us know.

Testimonial and endorsement

Using your own words, share what you like (and don't like) about Fomo during the presentation. Being honest will build more trust than pretending we've built a perfect product that solves every conversion rate challenge.

As before, it's easier to show than tell. So, if you have a referral client with an active dashboard that includes conversions and $$ click through sales, make your demo centric to this data.

Use case examples

You know your audience best. Are they ecommerce entrepreneurs, online teachers, freelancers? Do they sell physical products, or digital downloads?

With this in mind, you can spend your time on the webinar walking through connections to our integrations in that category, e.g. Teachable and Thinkific (for courses), or Shopify / BigCommerce (for ecomm), and so on.

We recommend showing how at least 3 different features and integrations work together to tell the story of an online business and build trust.

A few ideas to mix and match:

Alternatively, if you cater to a technical audience you could peruse our API docs and make sample requests to our "/events" endpoint. This will communicate very quickly just how easy it is to turn any website interaction into live social proof.

Referral link
This is the most important ingredient!ย

To ensure you capture ongoing revenue from your email promotion, be sure to include your "/go/XXX" link somewhere in the newsletter.
