DealerRater is a platform that aggregates car dealer reviews, car recalls and consumer information about dealerships.

Step 1 - Find your DealerRater Dealer ID

Go here and search for your dealer profile. Locate your profile page and click on the link, you should be directed to a page that looks like this:

When you're on your profile page, look at your browser's URL bar. There should be a number after "dealerrater.com/consumer/writereviews/":

This is your Dealer ID. In the above example, the Dealer ID would be "12345."

​Step 2 - Find your DealerRater Access Token

Log into your DealerRater Dealer Panel and generate an access token following DealerRater's instructions. Alternatively, you can submit a request to DealerRater Customer Support for an access token.

Read and accept the DealerRater API EULA. In the form provided, submit your access token for activation. 

You will use this access token in Step 3.

Step 3 - Find the DealerRater integration in Fomo

While logged into Fomo, navigate to Notifications, click 'Add Notifications', then 'All Notifications’. Search for 'DealerRater' and click to connect:

Add your Dealer ID from Step 1, your Access Token from Step 2, and enter the minimum rating of the events you'd like for us to import. For example, if you enter "4", then we will only import reviews with a rating of "4" or higher.

Note: Minimum rating is calculated by averaging a customer's review's rating across each subcategory (e.g. customer service, price, quality, etc.)

Step 4 - You're Done!

After clicking 'Continue', Fomo will immediately import your DealerRater reviews.

Going forward, Fomo will import new reviews as they occur, and show them off on your website based on your settings and page rules.
