Connecting Gravity Forms to your Fomo account takes a few seconds, and requires no coding experience.

Step 1 - Setup API Access

Login to your Wordpress admin console and visit the 'Forms' settings.

Next, let's enable REST API access.

Click 'REST API'

IMPORTANT

Then, click the checkbox next to 'Enable access to the API'.

After click on 'Add Key'.

Now we are good to go -- save down these new API keys for the next step.

Step 3 - Select your form

Fomo imports your form responses and lets you take control of what info is displayed in your events.

The first thing we need to specify is which form you would like to integrate with Fomo.

Let's grab this form's "Form ID". You can find it on the 'Forms' tab on the right hand side.

In this example, we'll integrate our Build A Pizza form. As you can see above, the Form ID is 3.

Head over to Fomo, navigate to Notifications, click ‘Add Notifications’, then ‘All Notifications’. Search for 'Gravity Forms' and click to open the integration.

Click 'Connect'.

In the resulting page, plug in your API Keys, Form ID, and the URL of your Wordpress site:

Click 'Continue'.

Step 4 - Setting up your settings

You can now specify to Fomo what kind of responses you want to share.

We do this by selecting a datatype (e.g. First Name), then we can pick which form question corresponds to that.

For example, on this form we ask for the participants' first name via the following form called "Your Name":

The input field is called 'First Name'. This is the value I need to provide to Fomo in order to pull in this data from Gravity Forms.

We'll go ahead and add these two variables. Now Fomo knows where to find the participants name.

Repeat this process for all of the variables you want to include in your Fomo notification:

Hit Save and we are good to go!

Step 4 - Customize your Events

If you visit your Templates you can customize your Fomo events to look and feel any way you want.

Step 5 - Apply Template Actions and Filters

If you're working with a Gravity Forms survey, check out these additional Gravity Form examples that will help you customize the Fomo notification even further.

Step 6 - You're Done!

Fomo will immediately import recent form responses from Gravity Forms. All new responses will instantly be surfaced as events on your site.

Every form is different. So make sure to leverage Fomo's dope customization options.
