Fomo Instant connections have geo-tracking abilities by default.

This means you can leverage {{ city }}, {{ province }}, and {{ country }} variables in those Fomo notifications, even if your web form does not contain location fields.

To turn this on...

  1. Log into Fomo > Integrations > Instant > open a form you've set up

  2. Click "Advanced" tab and enable "Extract location data from event IP addresses," then Save

  3. Navigate back to the message tab and modify your message to provide any values you want, e.g. {{ city }}, then Save

  4. You're done!

All form submissions will now include city, province, and country variables that you may leverage inside your notification message.
