BigCommerce is a leading cart platform for easy online stores.
Connecting your BigCommerce shop with Fomo is seamless, and requires no coding experience.
Step 1 - Find your Store Hash
Your Store Hash is located in the URL bar of your BigCommerce store, when you are logged into the Admin Panel.
Below is the URL of our test store, while logged into the store dashboard. Our Store Hash is the last few characters after the text "store-":
In the example above, the Store Hash is "v3voy".
Note - your store admin panel URL may be different, ie:
That's fine too. In this case, take note of "someplace" and move forward in this guide.
Step 2 (Optional) - I Don't Have a Store Hash!
Some BigCommerce stores are managed via the vanity domain, e.g. mystore.com/admin. If your store is set up this way:
- Visit https://manage.bigcommerce.com/
- Click your store name
- Scroll down to the "Details" section and find the "Permanent Address"
- The first characters of this, after "https://store-" but before "mybigcommerce," are your hash

In this example, "v3voy" is the store hash.
Step 3 - Add your Hash to Fomo
While logged into Fomo, navigate to the Integrations tab, then scroll down or search for BigCommerce.
If you don't already have a plan, you'll need to begin a free trial for this next step to work.
On the BigCommerce integration page, within Fomo, input your store hash and click Enable BigCommerce.
Step 4 - You're Done!
Assuming you embedded the Fomo snippet (click the blue 'Embed' banner from your Fomo dashboard), new product purchases will be sent to your Fomo event feed, and shown on your website in real-time.
Fomo automatically imports recent BigCommerce orders, and new ones will be imported on-demand.
To change the message structure of your Fomo notifications, simply visit the Templates tab while logged into Fomo and click the 'BigCommerce Order' template.
